Myself and a buddy are flying into san diego (staying in Rancho Bernardo) Thursday night to meet up with a friend before heading off to Vegas on Saturday for a Them Crooked Vultures concert. Neither of us have been in the area before and my friend that works there doesn't seem to have many ideas. We're not heavy drinkers, but we are all very laid back and always game for good food or anything MC related. Which is why our trip planning involves posting for suggestions on a regional MC board the night before leaving.
So if anyones got any ideas lets hear em.

Thanks.

I think there is a place down there that rents 1198's if you don't have one and want to ride one for the day.  Actually here is the website:

I was just taken to the 'Blind Lady Ale House' at 3416 Adams Avenue in Normal Heights.  Really good pizza and good beers.

No hostess doing seating though, you just snag tables as you see em.

Agree with Privateer. Rancho Bernardo is more in the "North" county so about a 30 min ride downtown +/-. There's a Ducati store closer in Escondido if that floats your boat. Downtown in the Gaslamp, there's a lot of good places to eat. Pending what you're into, Balboa park has a lot of museums and stuff like that. Ummm? The beach?
