2007 695 service light reset

What is the method to reset the service light on a 2007 695?

With the key initially off, press and hold the left button.  While holding the button in, turn the key to on.

Wait for the gauges to do their sweep and everything to settle, then turn the key off again.

Finally, release the button.

And it's not a light - it displays "NAINT" on the LCD.  If the check engine light (orange indicator with a picture of an engine) is on, it means the bike is seriously unhappy.

Excellent thank you.  Was just reading the service manual on the belt replace and valve adjust procedure and looking to make sure all bases are covered on doing a nice job.
