So I went out to my bike ('07 695) this morning, turned the key on, and immediately smelled fuel.  Looked down and the connector where the fuel line comes out of the tank was dripping gas right onto the exhaust header   :o

Do those connectors have an o-ring or something that I can replace?  Or do I need to order the whole connector?  I'd like to be able to fix it today; my Monster is my only transportation for now while I'm fixing my car!  [bang]

There is most definitely an o-ring on the fuel line connectors. Sometimes those connectors can be tricky to get seated correctly and leak only because they are not connect completely. Other times the o-rings are nicked while reconnecting. If you do get a new o-ring for it, grease the o-ring a bit and be careful while reconnecting.

Ah good, then hopefully I can find a replacement o-ring at the hardware store and not have to order anything!

I don't know why it would start leaking now though, the last time I had it disconnected was almost a year ago and it was fine until today!
