JUST WONDERING WHAT GUYS HAVE DONE WITH THEIR EXHAUST SYSTEM?? I'M LOOKING AT A TERMINGONI SLIP ON SYSTEM WITH THE DEDICATED ECU AND AIR FILTER......BUT I'M NOT ENTIRELY CONVINCED THIS IS THE ONLY OPTION OUT THERE, THESE SYSTEMS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. IS ANYONE RUNNING JUST A SLIP ON WITH NO OTHER MODS.....HOW DOES THE BIKE RUN

I put on a set of marving slip ons. Finally decided to get rid of the udder and put a "cat eliminator pipe". The bike ran and looked alot better.  The sound was MUCH better without the cat. In my view, a ducs gotta sound like a duc. IMO, get the system you like.. put go with the PCIII and have it dyno'd. Check out monsterparts.com They have lots of exhaust goodies.

Lay off the caps. A quick search will give you more info that you probably can parse.

sheesh. time to do a simple ol' search! place these in the forums where they go: This would be in access&mods, and no need for the all-caps, makes nobody want to help you out.

Save your $$$ until you can get the full system, ECU and filter top off.  Makes quire a difference.  10 - 14 hp all across the rev band. And with the db killers out a big boat load of extra torque right off the bottom.

The red line is with the db killers out. Blue line with them in and green stock. Brad Black's work.

if you have trouble affording anything, but need to make it go faster, just get anything to richen it up. A DP ecu put on before putting on pipes or an airfilter gains you a few hp on the dyno. (fun day testing the other day, by the way).

I ran some slip-on only Termi's without the end caps and I felt an increase in HP and the sound was amazing. I then chopped the cans by 6" and the sound and performance improved a zillion. Unfortunately I couldnt handle covering up the rear wheel and went with ther Ex-Box. If interested in CF Termi slip-ons mine may be for sale (very cheap) they're collecting dust anyway.
