WR250R is the way to go for the Fuel Efficent Fun commuter bike thing.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

A guy at my school has a kawasaki GPZ550... those bikes look sick.

shit, you'd have to ride that thing 50K miles a year for 50 years to pay that baby off.  :-[
love the concept but the range for me is lacking appeal and that price. 
Can we thin the gene pool?

long way off until one could possibly be competitive against a gas bike, if ever. This guy seems on track to try to be the first one even close though.

If a major advance happens in battery technology these things might become more viable but as it stands currently just toys for now.

A guy is selling a GPZ for $800. I cant find much info on the 550, only the 750.

Any information on it?

look up a 1980-1983 GPz550 which in Kawasaki technical terms is a KZ550H1 if I remember correctly...I had a 1982 GPz550 as my 1st street bike...it was an awesome pizza cutter!

Some cool little scoots in here. CB360 was my first bike.
Just FYI, I'm pretty sure that it's against the law to ride anything under 250cc on federal highways.
