I think i'm gonna go for the Pilot Roads 2ct.

I can't seem to find anything but good reviews about them.

You should like them - they're really good.

I've been using them on my BMW and got 12k out of the last rear including a (C group) track day at Thunderhill. It's nice having a rear that lasts just as long as your front =)

I've got the Dunlop Roadsmart sport-touring tires on my Monster and have been happy with them.  They last a long time - the rear has a dual compound tread (with harder compound in the middle) which seems to last forever when doing the long hauls on straight freeway.  Here's a review:

Oh, and don't get a fat 190 rear tire.  Stick to the stock size and you'll have more fun in the twisties.

I feel a bit jinxed.  I swore I clicked on the 180 size yet a 190 showed up.  bang head  Looks like another week.  I think I'm going stir crazy.

New Shoes!!! Always a happy day. It's like a new bike when you do it right  Grin

I've been riding Pirellis now after trying a bunch of others. I got to say the

Pirelli Corsa III rock and seem to last a long time too. The are a true dual compound tire. Harder in the, middle. Soft on the edges. They get sticky right away and they perform in the Twistys well.    Love.

I got the Pirelli Dragon Super Corsa Pros for the track. These are too spendy for everyday INMHO. Get Corsa III if you go Pirelli.

Think it was time eh?

Went with the Power roads 2, like them so far.  Seems a little harder to turn in but I also installed clip on's at the same time so that could be the culprit.

Would like to thank Robbie at http://www.mototireguy.com/

Kinda nice, you can ship your tires to him from motorcycle superstore and he'll call ya when they come in so you can set up an appointment to get them mounted.  Nice price, plus I was out in less then an hour and he lets ya watch. (a plus for me cuz I like to see what people do.

Thanks for the recommendation guys/gals.

*Chicken strip self defense*  I purchased the bike with 3k miles, stock tires, the next 1k was spent learning how to ride a bike, and finally the last 1k was teaching myself how to carve up the roads.  Go easy.  cheeky
