We do have some good organic chem people... and I may have snared an organic chem prize back in the day :P.

I'd more love to know what grease they run in the double-row angular contact bearing (the SKF one, sprocket side). It's pretty awesome... definitely not like any high-temp wheel bearing grease I've seen. Far too runny.

Yeah, reply was... ask SKF.

Asked SKF (boyfriend of a friend of mine works for them as a mechanical engineer) and the answer was... erm, we're not sure. Ask the Spanish factory... and they haven't told me :).
