My neighbors son and his friends play with airsoft replicas. The pistols are bad enough but one of them had an M4 version that was unreal (or too real) in it's looks and heft. Plus the thing would shoot across a field and cut coke cans in half at 10 yards.  Where do you draw the line between toys and the real thing? I like weapons but they are serious business and this replica stuff diffuses that into a fantasy that I don't think is wise or healthy.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Dood!!  Tell your coworkers to clean up their own mess would ya?

The scariest thing about Airsoft is the fact that a good majority of their most avid customers are the folks who wish like hell they could be little commandos too, but have been deemed (let's say) unfit by the Man to own the real deal.  Case in point, this guy that Laughn is having to clean up after had been going around impersonating LEOs for a while, brandishing his "toy" as a real weapon.

Just for kicks, go take a look at any of the airsoft forums and check out some of the things people post up on there.

btw seems to be a trend about airsoft guns. the one we have is pretty close the real hk pistols we have.

Car break-in suspect caught in Ewa Beach

A 32-year-old man was arrested early this morning, allegedly while in the process of breaking into a car.

Police said a 40-year-old man called about 2 a.m. to report seeing a man acting suspiciously and possibly breaking into cars.

Officers arrived at the scene to find a man lying on the front passenger seat of a car belonging to a 36-year-old woman, police said.

The car owner was contacted and told police she did not give the man permission to take the car, enter it or damage it.

The man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and two weapons violations in connection with an airsoft pistol police reported finding on him.
