Two days ago it was my birthday [wine]

Today is Norway's Constitution Day - very big thing here [beer]

...and I came across this restored whaling ship from the days when a few fortunes were made off of whaling

Hey, happy birthday and happy fourth of July 17th of May  :P  I will be sure to taunt any Swedes I encounter today on your behalf...

I would like to do some research some day and see if independence was ever declared in the Winter - seems like something every country waits until there is decent weather to do.

The scandanavian consul is next door to my house... they had a party for this.
