Father ted used to be on one of the larger Commercial networks here for a while, then the "Feck off Cup" moment

A number of people watching thought he said "make the beast with two backs off" and the show was dropped. thankfully it appeared on
the Government backed channel a few years later.

Father Ted was awesome, sucks that he died.  I found a bottle of "Feckin Irish Whiskey" and had to buy it just because it reminded me of the show. (It kinda sucks, too bad).
