DAYS OF GLORY PAST

My bike has 12,700 mi.and warr. is up in june .It was making noise on the right side and on track days shifts at 80-90mph produced slipping. I took it in to the dealer and they found the vertical tensioner bad and will be looking at the clutch today. Had the wiring loom replaced awhile back as the bike blew a fuse and turned off on the freeway, that was fun. Overall pretty happy and the bike put a smile on my face every time i get on it . most of the issues I have with the bike are fixed with the 1100m.

DAYS OF GLORY PAST

latest news -ducati approved the repair for the tensioner  [bow_down] and in only 2-3 week the parts will be in and after they put it together then they can look at the clutch issue and then who knows what.

DAYS OF GLORY PAST

Got the bike back today and my son rode it home with girlfriend on back- no more noise but I heard him shift around 70 and still the clutch slipped again . I asked him how it felt and he said he felt it slip two more times. any other  696's with clutch issues? 13000 mi now

Yes it was the vertical cyn. tensioner and I started hearing the noise around 4000 mi. and it would come and go at first. I have mobil 1 v twin  20/ 50 oil in it .
