Judging by the comments on the Facebook Ducati site I don't think he's won any hearts and that's without being able to completely understand all the comments in Italian.
meh what do Italians know! laughingdp

I still support Casey - it will be great down the Island watching Casey wring the neck off the Ducati coming out of Siberia, then next year he will be on the Honda!  I wonder if it will be as savage!  [moto]

That's alright you don't need to understand Italian to read what is being said on the General Board.

The press release was actually a lot more positive than what I was thinking ... yeah I know it was a press release, but it seemed like neither party was willing to burn bridges.

Now I don't really follow the racing ... but what are the chances of Casey winning on the Honda and then being lured back to Ducati once Rossi has come and gone? cheeky Grin

I read some of it. Mixed bag as always. To be expected.

But one thing is for sure, there are a great deal of Italian fans that think the Aussie riders are in a league of their own and and a special find. Comments relating to Stoner which describe him as riding with his heart. And Bayliss had always been a favourite with the Italians.

In Italy the opinion is shared just like it is here in the land of Oz.

Good luck on your new ride Rossi.  waytogo
