Congratulations to the Blackhawks.   [clap]

Kane's OT goal was incredible. After seeing 20 replays, I still don't know how it went in.  [bow_down]

Way to go Philly fans, by showing the respect deserved for Lord Stanley's Mug, but who would expect
more from the city of brotherly love.  [roll]

We got a reputation to uphold. Now pour beer on yourself and kick yourself in the face. That's what a true philly fan would do  ;D
Is this thing on?

They were booing Bettman, not the cup. They booed when Bettman spoke.

I hope the "hoisting the cup" tradition goes away after this one. Ted Lindsay started it to take the cup to the sideboards and let the fans see it. It was to honor the fans, not the players. The gesture is extra meaningless when the owners and coaches are lifting it overhead and kissing it.

They boo hooed to be more specific, the whole time. Typical philly fans.

Why should they stop hoisting the Mug?
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

if that were the winning goal for chicago allt hose fans would be in shock as well.

i'm really tired of people saying all philly fans are assholes/whiners/thugs, etc.
that's mostly eagles fans (aside fromt eh puking guy at the phillies) but i have seen the same boorish and flat out unacceptable behavior in other cities too.
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Very true, that sort of BS happens everywhere. I hope they were booing Bettman and not the cup, but Im sure thats all they were doing.

As for Chicago, I say congrats...kills me to say, but they played very well and are deserving. As for Philly, they made a great series of it, nothing to be ashamed of.

Now for a summer of speculation and trades. At least we dont have to wonder where Hossa will rent a house to win a cup.
