Tail bag on M696 (bags connections) with pics

Here is what I did for a tail bag. I bought this tank bag  http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/1859/451/ and tried it on the tank. Drilled the gas cap and fitted the bag. Didn't like how it worked. I didn't want to throw the bag with its ingenious mounting system so I drilled the seat cowl and mounted it there. It works like a charm. For the tank I bought  the base for my old tank bag for my multi.
