I am looking at a Movado with a leather band.

Don't really like the metal bands.

I wore a basic Movado Museum watch for around 10 years.  I went through several watch bands (always had to order the factory bands through an auhtorized jeweler in Chicago & have it shipped).

I went through 2 or 3 crystals on it.  One of them was cracked playing roller hockey against a concrete bunker.  The watch still worked.  I was vevry hard on the Movado as it was an everyday piece for me.

Eventually, the gold outer ring seperated from the bottom half of the watch.  This occurred at about the same time that Breil started sponsoring Ducati, and I switched to a Breil & haven't gotten the Movado fixed.

I like the Breil; however, it's big and clunky.  + the stop watch feature has never worked right.

I intend to go back to a Movado again because it's beautiful and thin!  My two cents!  Buy one! :)
