696 Idle Speed Adjustment

I stand corrected  -  I toyed with the fast idle lever today when my bike was fully warmed up at '3 bars'.  It did not reduce the idle like an enrichener (choke) would at that point.  It is truly as you say, just an idle adjustment.

Is it the same on the 695 ?
Mine will stall when cold, if I turn the adjuster off.
I am reluctant to let it warm up with this lever 'on' as I picture the oil being washed off the cylinders, as in the days of a 'Choke Lever'
I use a piece of "O" ring to jam the throttle control to a fast idle to warm up
Also  handy to use as a cruise control if I want to pic my nose with my right hand!! [laugh]

The cold start lever is fast idle, not an enrichment device.  Much easier than using an O ring.
