Throttle position sensor

My 06 s2r21000 is running poorly. Is there a way to test whether the tps is malfunctioning?  What happens if you disconnect it?   When I disconnect mine, my bike runs the same.

you need to hook up a VDST to the ECU to reset the TPS. If it still runs poorly more investigating needs to be done.
