My OEM shock had 19,000 on it when I replaced it with an Ohlins.

Lent it to a friend of mine for his 620, he put at least 10,000.
Later sold it to a customer, I could find out how many miles on it now, it's still good.

The front forks (shock) can be disassembled, modified, whatever you want.

As far as needing an adjustable tie rod....

Do you want to raise the bike?
How much do you weigh?
How smooth are the roads you ride on?
What kind of riding do you do?

Do you want to raise the bike? not sure? I guess this would depend on the front forks that I would like to change to.
will 1999 Ducati 900SS front forks work on 2003 620?
How much do you weigh? 185lbs
How smooth are the roads you ride on? I would have to say half and half
What kind of riding do you do? I do a track day once a year at button willow but lots of in town riding as well
