Hi, ive purchased a 2nd hand S4R wityh a few km's (miles) on it, and under the clutch, sump area there are what looks to be a few oil stains. Has anyone got any ideas if this can be cleaned up? ive tried degreasser but it has done nothing and looks as if it has been there for quite a while.

Cheers

if its stuck to the paint, theres nothing i know sort of media blasting that will take it off....with the paint.

Ive tried to do it with a hot engine too.

WD-40
Kerosene
Brake Fluid
Goo Gone
Bean Clean
Foamy Brite engine degreaser
Autozone brand engine degreaser

ive tried all that.

Acetone on a rag works well for me. YMMV

I had that EXACT issue. GoJo hand cleaner with pumice, a rag a bucket of warm water, a toothbrush and A LOT of elbow grease. Mine looks excellent now!

i've used just simple green and a toothbrush and rinsed off and it worked perfectly, give it a try.
