Just one thing to point out... the bluray can store more on a single disc than on the dvd-rom in a 360. As a point, Final fantasy was like 4 discs on the 360 and 1 on the ps3

Another good point. BTW, GT5 is due out is november and is slated to be one of the best driving games to every hit the media. Its also in 1080p which I dont think xbox can do. Someone correct me if Im wrong. As for pay for play, I havent heard that the PS3 is moving that way. When/where is that mentioned? That was a selling point for me and getting it for my kid.

He Man

xbox can do 1080P, but there are very few games that ever come out in that format natively.

I vote xbox only because online play is where its at. if you dont care about that, then PS3 is fine. I have both. Xbox gets used way more.

I'm sort of leaning toward the xbox, mainly because my nephew has one & I can borrow his games without buying them.

It's going to be something I go to when my wife is watching home decor shows & I'm too much of a soft cock to tell her to change the channel.  :P  I've given up asking as I'm sick of hearing 'NO!', 'I don't want to watch Top Gear!', 'I don't want to watch motorcycle racing' etc etc.

Ah, you gotta love 'em.  :-*
I like a drink. You know when people say 'I like a drink as much as the next man'? Not if I'm the next man, you don't.

This is old news, see link:

Basically they were talking about charging for "premium" content, like I mentioned on my original post. Multiplayer will continue to be free, but you get what you pay for. Xbox Live continues to be the better online experience.

Simply stated PS3 developers finally have a grasp of the hardware and are finally developing games to match it. Before I would have told you that Xbox games are better. You will find more good games on the Xbox, but the newer games for the PS3 are looking sick. The latest version of the Xbox has everything integrated and is Kinect ready.

Selling points for both are different, but you'll end up buying whatever your friends have since you'll want to play with them.
