I'm researching sprocket and carriers.
Many/most aftermarket stuff ends up misaligning things by ~ one mm or two.
So I'm told by manufacturers and trustworthy vendors.

My plan is to get a laser tool to check before and after.

How would you fix a possible misalignment?
(I know the swingarm is shim'able, but hope to avoid that)

on a DSS bike the sprocket is connected to the wheel and you have the adjusters to help align the chian.

on the SSS bike the sprocket mounts directly to the hub which is shimmed from the factory. You can adjust it if you needed to, i *THINK* i cant remember, that its behind the sprocket (theres a spacer and a shim there or something to that effect)

either way, ive changed my sprocket and did not need to align my chain. i dont think 1mm is a big deal. certainly cant see it without breaking out a straight edge. i just swapped sprockets on my S2R1k and put about 800 miles on it already.
