Help design our DOC logo and win some free stuff!!!!

Hey all,

Our local crew here in New Mexico just got accepted as a Ducati Owners Club.  Our group name will be the High Desert Hooligans!  Before we can get the final paperwork done, we need a logo.

If you can help me come up with something, I will send you a free Tshirt and other swag with your design on it!

It has to be a pretty basic design that will look good on shirts /hats, stickers and letterhead, etc.

Our group ideas thus far in no particular order:

1) Using the New Mexico state flag as a basis, with the center of the flag being the Ducati circle.  Here is the flag:



2) Using the same flag, make a face out the circle and the sun rays would be funky rasta hair.    Face ideas (for concept only...not to duplicate)

and of course the awesome Hoosier Hooligan one:


3) Our local group has a crazy mascot, which is a gargoyle we call Lance.  (yeah, too much time in the sun down here).  So maybe a play on something like this devil ducati, but with wings?:

Being a NM Duc owner myself, I'm interested in where this goes.

I think that the trellis frame zia above would be hot if done as pin-striping perhaps...  Or maybee change some of the colors.

Edit: Couldn't make it pin striped (stuck with just my laptop and no mouse), but I think some color changes and a small change on the "trellis" do it good.

Make it a circle sticker?



Dont mind the bottom set of lines being different... the other three are right, again, no mouse sucks for graphic design.  But, if the bars are red and green, with a white background it keeps the italian/Ducati colors, and the symbol plus the yellow center ties it in with NM.  Butting the two green bars across the outer tellis member highlights the zia symbol a little more as well.

That's pretty cool, even w/o a mouse! The green/red combo calms it down a bit....but the undulating trellis kinda makes me think too hard, if you know want I mean. It does unify the all the components tho. Any other thoughts?
