ok,

need a solution for my rearset

either a M8 x 1.0 halfheight nut to mount the stock microswitch

or go with a

Banjo pressure switch

advice?

microswitches are more reliable, banjo switches are easier.

yeah that's what i'm seeing as i can't find a damn M8 1.0 half height without having to order the whole farm to get it shipped to me.

I'm running a pressure switch on my M1100.  No issues.  A little brake bleeding and you're good to go.

How often do you use the rear without also using the front?

I went to a pressure switch after changing rearsets on my Aprilia.  It has stopped working after a couple of years.  I like to trail brake and the brake light sometimes messes with people following me through turns.  I have bought a replacement switch, just not sure if I want to replace it.
