695- low idle/cutting off even at temp

I've had a few problems over the last month -backfiring, bike just shutting off, lurching at higher rpms. Bike has 13,000 and has chopped stock exhaust. I've started with the cheapest fixes and have starting going up. Replaced plugs, just replaced fuel filter, which helped with some of the popping, but still there at between 3.5 and 5 rpms. Even after temps get in the high 100's rpms still drop below 1000 and bike will cut off.

A couple of issues here, so any tips for me to give a shot would be great. Worst case scenario it's 15k service is coming up, I would like to at least ride it up to that point.

Try turning in the air bleeds on the throttle bodies all the way(lightly seat them), then turn both out equally 2.5 turns. Start it and get it up to temp. Then turn each out a quarter turn at a time equally until the idle is about 1200rpm. This may get you by until the service interval. I suspect you probably might have some bad gas or water in the fuel, or need the valves adjusted.

Would've never thought of this. Don't I need a manama (capital of what country?) manometer or something to do this or is there another way with positive results?

No, you bust out the manometer when you're doing a full service tune, usually after the valves have been adjusted, etc. Manometer's for syncing the throttle bodies. The air bleeds adjust the idle speed, clockwise richens, counterclockwise leans it out. It's a quick no cost way to get the idle speed up until you take it in for its next service interval.
