Yes I have. Its mounted next to the crankshaft, its more commonly known as the flux capacitor. Kaleco sells cheap knockoffs.

Ducati Electronica still exists, renamed Ducati Energia. but is now a separate company rather than a division.. They are the supplier of OEM voltage regulators for thew Honda Hornet. http://www.ducatienergia.it/staging/index.html
