As the original poster I wanted to let everyone know that I still really like these mirrors, but they may have a small flaw.

The cap screw that attaches the mirror to the bracket can come loose and fall out.  If the mirror starts getting loose, check the screw...add some loctite and snug it up.  I was riding a couple weekends ago, and one of mine fell off (looked for it but couldnt find it).  Even more kudos to M-label for excellent service...ordered another pair off E-bay on sunday night, and they arrived at my house on west coast usa on thursday.
