like the title says. the DP ergal gears are for the 1000 bikes and adjustable. the 02ish 900 bikes and others like the 695 had stock adjustable gears.

is there a way to get the DP 1000 gears to work on the stock 900 adjustable holders/flanges?

The 1000 cam pulleys are larger diameter/more teeth, you would need to run the corresponding belts, which are significantly more $ than the 900 belts.

my original question should have been this.

can 1000 stock cam and layshaft gears fit on a 900 or would the gears inside diameters be different?

Are you just looking for adjustable cam gears? Because they are out there for the 900-spec bikes...
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

yeah i was looking into light weight adjustable gears. i know vee 2 and stm had some but i don't think they were considered light weight, plus i know being LW isn't going to make a difference since the gears run 1/2 the engine speed. i guess it's a want more than a need, but i'd be nice to have LW and adjustable.

you'll have clearance issues around them i expect as they are larger diameter - 20 vs 18 teeth.  and you'd need longer belts.  apart from that can't see any reason why they won't work.

v2 are sold out, making no more.
