I think its official, my 99 750 has been at my local shop for 4 weeks now...

First I was waiting for a $3.12 gasket from Italy (why didn't they just cut them from gasket paper?!). Now, having had the carbs rebuilt and jetted, I'm told I need a set of pulsery coils...which they "never see these wear out"....Nobody seems to have them...I'm told Ducati no longer makes them....

uhm....HELP?

ignitech also sell them.

i've been told they have been on backorder for a long time.  i had a guy who's bike was elsewhere ask me if i could find some ducati ones.  they were backorder locally, so i emailed ducati seattle, who said they'd had them on backorder for some time with no delivery in sight, and also that they didn't ship out of usa, which was fair enough.  maybe now they're officially nla?
