30 and 20 mph sweepers is an oxymoron.   [roll]

The signs read 30 and 20 mph. We were going at least double that.

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

How far would you ride if you read about or saw a video ( to get to that ) of a great stretch of roads .
17 miles....

That's how far I have to ride to get into the start of thousands of really nice, twisty roads in the area. I have no need to go anywhere else, and I avoid those roads that get the publicity on the forums.

I only have to go 5 miles to get to the good twisties ...............but that's not to say I don't end up 75 miles from home still riding roads that I love and that's just the start of more great roads that go on for another 50 miles in all directions.

I'm about an hour from Rt. 555 but have never ridden it.

Plenty of roads in between to keep me happy.   :)

I guess this question would be more for people who live in big Cities, Suburbia or flat land .
