Harley-Davidson has announced that it will open a new assembly facility in Haryana, India.

Of course my title is a bit tongue in cheek as the bikes made over there won't be coming to American shores, they are for sales in India (which has super high import tarrifs) and other eastern markets. But I do find a bit of irony that there will be symbols of Americana built in India.

Considering they lost something like $128M on the MV agusta deal, I would say they are going to do whatever they can to make up for that experiment.

Oh I'd considered writing it out that way, just opted not to. Soon enough it'll be the Tata motors bar and shield if they keep at it

soon enough Tata will own the rest of the auto manufacturers.  like it or not both China and India are front and center.

HD has been building bikes in Brazil for years.  They import parts and engines and build there to get around the super high tariffs.
