So after 3 or so weeks of assembly, my m900 is alive!!! Hooked up a gear oil bottle filled with gas to her, gave a few turns of the throttle for the fcr's, and played with the idle adjuster a bit, and she fired right up! Set the idle to 1300, and enjoyed it for a minute. Vacuum barbs are capped off.

Now, throttle response is.... Lacking. She also hangs a bit, mostly just a bit slow to rev and return to idle. Is this fuel starvation (gear lube bottle for a gas tank?) I haven't hooked up the pump either, but once the tank comes back from the welder I'll hook up all the lines.

On second thought, I haven't oiled the filters either (pods), and I remember that kicking my but on my old Suzuki. Any thoughts? New oil, new belts, new plugs, dyna coils, fcr41's, k&n pod filters, among other things.

found out that the K&N's are already pre oiled. Hooked up the fuel pump and everything, used a clear fuel filter, but not much gas coming out, gear oil bottle bight be clogged or not releasing enough fuel. however, if I let the fuel filter fill up a little, she seems to get better. Starts right at the push of a button! Sounds amazing when idling, rev's are cleaner, but I may have to just hookup a more suitable auxiliary gas tank, just waiting on the original to be brazed at the hinge.

In addition to the pump the tank is gravity feed. Get that bottle above the carbs.
