Hi guys,

Kind of feel like an idiot posting this but my shift rod on my rizoma rearsets came off while cruising down the highway. They clearly werent tight enough. Can someone with a set on their 1100, 696, or 796 measure how long the rod is? I rigged the stock one to work but will be ordering a new one as the rizoma rod is longer.

Thanks in advance. The new ones will be getting some loctite...

I have neither a new Monster or Rizomas, but may I suggest:

http://www.desmoworld.com/shop/de/ergal-carbon-schaltstange.html

Totally unnecessary, but in accordance with the true modding spirit Cool Wink

If you don't get your answer here - email Chris at DesmoWorld - he sells Rizoma and I'm sure he'll measure the rod for you.

35 euro for shipping!!!

well my friend the cost of shipping from the states is usually a dam sight more than that plus when it gets to the UK the tax man gets you for 20% of the value and parcel post charge you another 12-15 pounds for the privilege of handling the package... bang head

5 3/4 inches is what mine measures.

I did the same thing, but I found mine in the middle of the road. And no one even ran it over.  cheeky

With or without the securing nuts?
If those ~145mm is to be compared with the DesmoWorld piece, remember that their measurement
is without the nuts.

Thanks again guys!  The dude at desmoworks was awesome and worked out a better deal on shipping.  Hope to finish the order tomorrow for the 145mm ones since they are now closed.  I really appreciate the suggestions and the measurements!  The desmoworks rods are way cooler than the probolt ones that I was planning on getting.

Hi Guys,

for small boxes like this the shipping price is about 8.50 - 15 euro , depends on the size/weight/amount

if you are sure the box is really small please ask for the transport costs , otherwise we also check each order automatically and let you know the better price by mail !
