KTM to Introduce 250/300 Duke for 2012

If they really do bring the 250-300cc ktm to the USA I will be looking at them pretty seriously. I like to buy used to get a better price, so it will be a while before that happens for me, but I wouldn't mind a small displacement really light bike to flick around. Plus I can use the excuse that it is for my wife to learn on, and we all know that means I will ride it more than her, hehehe. I'd love to thrash a tiny KTM through the canyons and country roads around here. I also commute every day and would love to have a few choices. Of course that means a larger garage, more tools, maybe a lift . . .

  this is how I get away with anything bike related.  Wife's first date on a bike and now she's had two.  Now the question is: which one's more expensive to maintain?

we both ride the scoot, i don't get your question? Scooter is easier and more practical for the city (chicago); my monster is for normal real riding.

Here's my new best friend, Yamaha WR250X.  I absolutely LOVE this bike!  My Monster and Sport 1000 sit in the garage.

I've been wondering about those since my car dealership picked up Yamaha to add to their lineup.  They look like a sick amount of fun.
