Anybody know of a good tailor in Fairfax/Prince William county areas?

There is a great old korean lady who has a shop in fairfax city, but she doesn't do leathers if that's what you're up for.  great work on knit repairs and such.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I'm going to be buying a new suit here in the near future and I wanted to have it tailored, not just altered.  I haven't gotten the suit yet, so I don't know exactly what I'll need done.

here is the one i referred to

Ann's Custom Tailor
10610 Main Street
Fairfax, VA (703) 385-6560

it's at Railroad Ave and Main St.  It's just one very VERY nice Korean lady running the shop.  She is very good at eyeballing cuts and hems.  I took in some old slacks that I couldn't get my fat ass into and she let them out just enough and they fit like new and I can't tell where the mods are or where the old seam was.

She can tell you how good a suit is as well, just ask her to check it out.   Prices are reasonable, I think it was $18 to let the pants out and redo the hems to plain from cuffed.  Not bad for a $200 pair of pants that can be worn for a lot longer now.

I am assuming you mean like a regular suit, not a leather riding suit or something different...

if so, the tailors at Jos A Banks were REALLY good and VERY professional, and it wasn't that hateful as far as pricing....I think it was like $65 for them to tailor 2 suits...and they had to make alterations in the jacket and pants in both
