i have a 01 M750. i have had this problem since i got the bike and as far as i know it is not avoidable (hence the reason for this post). When i have numerous keys and or "key chain decorations" it gets jammed into my the space between the tank and what connects the handle bars. many times it has jammed in the middle of turning and a couple of times has actually turned the key and turned off the bike (luckily never in gear). i know it doesnt sound like that big of a deal but i am picky person and do not like to have my bike seperated from all my other keys but for now that is my only solution. if you have any ideas that would be awesome.

THANKS- JETT.

i also have that problem so i keep my keys separate from my bike.
I try to remember not to put my house keys in my pants pocket while riding,
my brother went down with keys in his pocket and they got buried into his leg
they actual ring wound itself right into his thigh!

Tough luck there man.  I'm a "3 keys per ring" kinda guy (car, house, other car) but the Duc key is separate from everything else, save this little fabric fob that keeps me from loosing it entirely.

^^^^ I've actually had that worry myself, but I always wear my keys on a carabiner on a belt loop so I just worry about lowsiding and having the keys scrape off on the road somewhere.  Same with the cell phone, it's always in a jacket pocket to lessen the chance that it gets demolished in a crash.  Not that I give a shit about my phone, I'd just like to be able to call for help when I eat it :)
