Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

My son...sweet sensitive lad that he is,, made the following observation the other weekend....

Dad when you and mom move into assisted living or some nursing home I just realized that the people there will be playing music like "Stairway To Heaven" and AC-DC stuff....

I replied that "Stairway" may not resonate the same way in a nursing home the way it did years before...and I added that "there will be no nursing home...I changed your diapers...it'll be your turn to change mine"....

Funny..I was just thinking about this very thing tonight as I was walking into work.  "What music will the be playing.."  
I walked into the mental ward of the SNF during a Lawrence Welk-polka-elevator-chipmunk music compilation CD.  [thumbsdown]  [puke]  [bang]

Sadly, the idea that your son had isn't true at all.  Sorry to say.  It'll be that sh*tty compilation music I heard today (during work hours) and then it will be even sh*ttier rap music all night long.  It's the same thing in all 3 places I work.  You won't mind though cuz you'll be demented or deaf by then anyway.
