solid clip ons, bar end signals; now what?

LED bar end signals is one of the first mods i decided on. i ordered a kit with the signals, mirror adapters, and mirrors. like $200. went out in the garage to look @ things and guess what? solid bars! duh. so now what am i gonna do? the bar ends are gonna happen, so i rilly only got 2 options: i can replace these solid bars with some hollow bars of equal diameter or i have the originals machined.
neither solution is perfect as both require removal of the switches and controls. replacing the bars may be the simplest and possibly cheapest solution. but (a) they wont be LSL clip ons anymore, and (b) i'd have to, or @least rilly
want
to, get them anodized to match the originals.
machining them would allow me to keep the original pieces and spare me the hastle of having them anodized (besides the fact that most anodizing is done in batches so there might be quite a wait for th@ specific color).
my thinking is to mill the end of each bar to an i.d. of say 16mm for a depth of @least 40mm then gun drill them 3.5 or 4mm. sound about rite?
if anyone could do the job for a fair price i'd like to hear from them. also open to qlternate solutions. thanks.

Are you sure they're solid throughout?
If so, you'd have to machine quite some distance to be able to route the wires.
Maybe it's only a solid end cap? Open in the other end?
I think a replacement bar might be the thing.

I'm looking forward to some pics of the finished setup. Sounds bad-ass.
