Sorry guys, but just not quite effective enough.

Why not keep your current 696, buy the S4R, do your valve adjustments after buying the tools you need and reading this wonderful thing called the internet, and when the 2 important things happen (you graduate school, and your gf starts riding), she uses your already paid for, and fully adjusted 696 to learn on.

I can't help the way you presented yourself.
You presented yourself as being someone who waits until the service light comes on, and then was going to dump your bike onto the used bike market. Then do the same again with your next bike. I put it in quotes for everyone to see, in case they forgot what that looks like, even.

As for my response, sure, I could have been more pleasant about it, but then you probably would never have noticed, nor cleared up your intents. Where's the fun in that?
