Hi all, looking for advice on getting rid of the "ugly black hanging thing" that my plate and the plate light hang on... Note, I am specifically NOT LOOKING TO CHOP THE TAIL.  I am leaving the "beer tray" in place. From what I can tell, it should be a relatively straightforward 4-bolt issue to unscrew the stock plastic ugly thing, but I am not sure what to replace it with.

Someone recommended this Rizoma, but seems expensive and bulky to me, not sure how much visual difference it will make??

This place appears to carry a cheap tidy solution for this bike, but you lose the light, which I think might get me pulled over, no?

Sorry for asking about a topic about which there seem to be many threads, but I'm hoping someone can save me a LOT of searching time and point me in the right direction (spent a bit of time searching already but not sure I found what I'm looking for).

Thank you.

The Rizoma piece doesn't exclude the upper plastic.

Here's what I did

This is one of the more common solutions

If you're really only replacing the plate plastic
