2011 796, 26K clicks, 24k desmo service completed end of 2014.  Leo Vince cans for three years.  Couple weeks ago I apparently got some bad gas (supposedly Shell V Power puregas).  Bike started bogging down and losing power periodically.... put in new gas, seafoam, all cleared up after a couple tanks and now everything runs smooth as ever.  But.  I'm getting a totally different exhaust smell, kind of acrid, acidic, slightly burned odor all the time.  Catalytic converters?  Burned packing?  I have no clue, any suggestions?  (oil level is fine, only 2k clicks on it).

Is Seafoam ok with cats? I wouldn't know as I haven't seen that product here yet.

With aftermarket cans..... he has no longer has any catalytic converters.  The stock cats are integral to the stock cans.

If the cans are Euro legal they came with cats, often easily removable.  Sea Foam should be fine with cats, the ones in your exhausts anyway.  Bad for real cats.  Pale oil, naphtha and alcohol are the ingredients.  I would suggest go for a nice ride and see what happens.  Oh, change the fuel filter.
