i am replacing my stock triple with a Cycle Cat piece and it does not look like i will be able to mount the gauges from beneath; at least not in the same manner as they were in the case of the stock triple. it appears that due to the thickness of the triple, the gauges will contact the edge of the triple preventing the mounting holes from lining up properly. i'm sure i could figure out something, but if anyone has a tried and tru method, i'd like to hear about it. there is a pic below of the underside of the triple i will be using.
there he goes. one of god's own prototypes. a high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Drunken Monkey

I had a set of the DP "Octopods" and I was able to mount them under the cycle cat using longer bolts and some 1/4 long hollow tubes as spacers.

Not exactly apples to apples, but it worked for me
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

Artful

Use some method to position the gauges where you want them, then figure out what type of bracket you can make it mount them there. If all else fails you can always remove some material from the problem area with a Dremel.

Dremels are like the duct tape of power tools.

Shorten the u-tube that you turn signal brackets attach to.  I'm in the middle of doing that now.  Do a search (lower gauges) on this forum and you'll find tons of info, including doing it on CC triples.
