Starter removal on 02 m 620

seeing if any one knows how to remove starter on 02 m 620. Couldn't find any online. Don't really feel like buying a manual for a  starter. Any help would be helpful

You need to remove the left engine sidecover to get at 2 of the 3 bolts that hold the starter on.

Why are you removing the starter?

IE.....failed starters are rare...bad connection, failed solenoid are not so rare.
