I have bar end mirrors so the mirror mounts on the masters are empty.  I'm curious if anyone has tried using something like this as a base?

If so, any ideas what pitch would work?

I have RAM Mount for my GPS.

The pitch is the same as on mirrors.
Just get the right dimension (10mm on Monsters, usually 8 on newer bikes)

are you saying the mount I linked above is the right base?  "RAM 1" Ball with M10 X 1.25 Pitch Male Thread"?

Yes  waytogo

Because the right side mirror is usually reverse threaded, this must mount on the left side - unless you swap clamps between left and right.

excellent, thank you.  Left side is perfect, I prefer to take pics with my left hand so this will be the easiest transition.
