Hi everyone,

Name: Niles
Location: Northern Ohio
Bike(s) (if any): 620ie
How long you've been riding: Pretty much new, recently endorsed.
Anything else you'd like to share: Taking a break from racing cars to enjoy myself on two wheels. Looking forward to some fun rides/sightseeing with the new bike if it ever stops raining around here.
Thanks for the FAQ's they have been a good help in buying the Monster and checking it out.
7k, one owner, all records, great deal. It does have "leo vince" slip ons and a "TFI" piggy back. I'm not crazy about either due to noise and reliability concerns.

Weird!

I just posted my intro this morning, we are within 30 miles or so. I grew up in Hubbard, but now live out near Kent. Just a zip down I76 for us...well, maybe 224 since we can't go on the interstate with the learners permit ;)

We've got some great back country roads around me, and I know you've got some nice ones too once you get out of the city.

Welcome to the forum and maybe we can meet up for a ride sometime.

Hi Delikose,

I'm actually near Solon so not too close to the city. I think there are potholes the size of the bike near the actual city.  :P I think the metroparks trails around here would make for some good riding though. Have you met up with the Ducati club in your area? One of the guys at work was telling me they are an active group (near Akron) so I was thinking of checking out a meeting sometime. If you haven't taken the MSF course, consider it. It's an easy way to get your endorsement.

I haven't met with any group in the area yet. The two prominent ones that Google shows are DemsOhio and Ducati-ROC. Looks like Ducati-ROC is closer, but their website hasn't been updated in a while.

I'm already signed up for the MSF in July, not sure if I will go on the interstate even after I get my endorsement. Like you said about the huge potholes, I shutter when I hit them with my car, don't want to know what it feels like on the bike!
