I cook them frequently.  My favorite method is in a Dutch Oven.  They come out pretty darn good!  I follow the receipe for Squirrel Head Stew but just quarter the squirrel  and don't use the noggins.  Most of the heads of the squirrels I get have a 36 caliber roundball hole through them anyway.
