Hey guys, I'm looking for a top mount Steering damper, NOT down the side of the bike.  Anyone have any recommendations/pics??

I'd love to put a damper on the bike, but  can't just slap one on the side, it looks terrible IMO.

Thanks,
Justin

Have same bike....

Afaik, other than the DP kit ($) nothing 3rd-Party for atop the stock triple/bar unless you start modifying things up there.

BTW - why are you thinking damper?  This bike has fully adjustable suspension - properly set-up, this bike is very stable.

Thanks guys  chug

@OT, I want a damper just for some extra insurance.  My bike's plenty stable, but I figure a damper can't hurt.

A damper will help prevent a tank slapper in case you do an *accidental wheelie* and come down in an angle. Even the OEM damper on my Streetfighter saved me when my front tire came down on a street BOT. The front began to wobble, but the damper prevented any tank slapping.

Matris makes a top mount for that model--I have one on my 800.

I like it fine, but if I'm being honest I'd have to say that I don't really need it (no accidental wheelies here).  It does look nice, though Smiley

have a bitubo. saved my ass plenty a times. more then i can count on one hand for sure.

from the "accidental" wheelies to the ones on purpose with bad landings to just running over some INSANELY large pot holes while riding with 1 hand.

it was worth its weight in gold!

The Matris weren't available in the US for quite a while...are they again?

Either way - hope you find something.
