Headlight fairing for 2001 M750

My 2001 M750 does not seem to have the brackets needed to mount a headlight fairing. Has anyone been through this already and know what parts I need?

It seems there need to be two ears above the headlight mounting bracket that I don't have but they are not listed in the Ducati parts diagram.

Any thoughts?

I have a 2000 and there are no headlight fairing brackets.  The headlight fairing uses the same bolts and bracket as the headlight.  If that doesn't make sense I can take a picture of mine to show you.
