Just got back into the area for the next couple months and thought I'd stop and say hi. I was referred here by DRKWING and just wanted to see what's up. I live in college park and I am always down for group rides if anyone wants to set one up.

Also, where do you folks ride? The only really nice roads within a reasonable distance that I've found are Governor's Bridge Rd and the surrounding areas over in Bowie.

Welcome back! Sorry you had to put up with DRKWNG. What's that phrase? Necessary Evil. I work in college park (when I do work that is), so I'm up that way pretty regularly. MadDuc20/20 lives up that way as well.

As far as rides, keep an eye on the who's up for a ride thread. There's a lot of BS'n that goes on in there, but rides happen there too.

The areas to the south east of Bowie are some of our normal Sunday haunts.  In fact, we were down there this afternoon.  

Lots of areas to ride around here, but what you mentioned is the most convenient.  There are plenty of good spots in VA as well, but they take a bit longer to get to.

I'm up in Laurel but tend to head down that way for rides. Too bad all my free time is going into fixing up my buddies bike. Maybe another week or two and it'll be done so I can go for some pleasure rides again!
