I have an 07 Monster s4r testastretta, the red frame, gray body with black stripe. I'm in need of a seat cowl that will MATCH the rest of my bike, so pretty much the stock one. Does anyone know where I can find them online? Or if anyone has one for sale? Kinda desperate, don't really like the look of the bike as much without it... thanks for the help.

If you can't find one you can get one painted. Boris in Costa Mesa could do it and I guess DucPainter could as well.

So what happened is a friend got a hold of it..and somehow scrapped the shit out of the stripe..which is just take on the cowl. I'm thinking of trying to find tape and taping it off myself, I don't know if that would work...

Tapeworks.com

They sell tape in bulk rolls of just about any color you might want. They should have a match. All you need is a long (steel) straight edge to cut your new stripe, a steady hand and some patience to lay a new one.

If you go that route - I suggest laying down some masking tape along one edge of the current stripe before pulling it off. The masking tape will be your guide for placing the new stripe(s)
