Swapping Ducati parts......

Hey there, I just purchased a 2008 S4RS Tricolour.  Everyone keeps telling how this is rare and I should feel lucky (well I do); but I have to admit the color pattern is just okay in my book.  I love everything about the bike except the color scheme.  I really prefer the black with red or white stripe or red with white stripe.  That being said, I don't want to do anything to damage the very nice tins that are on it.  So I would like to remove, clean and store them in the attic.  Can someone please tell me what years and monster model tanks will fit my monster.  For example, will a tank from an S2-1000 or S2-800 fit, or does only have to come from an '07/'08 S4RS?  Thanks, qrance
